Nigel Cabourn Opens Its Largest Kanto Store in Omotesando, the Neighborhood He Loved

Nigel Cabourn OMOTESANDO STORE, a new base for the Nigel Cabourn brand, opens in Tokyo's Omotesando on Saturday, August 8th, operated by OUTER LIMITS Co., Ltd.

The store has the largest sales floor of any Nigel Cabourn location in the Kanto region. As a space meant to embody the brand's world, it aims to go beyond apparel and let visitors experience, through all five senses, the lifestyle and values that Nigel Cabourn cherished throughout his life.

Omotesando is a neighborhood that symbolizes Japanese street culture and fashion, and it also holds special meaning for the brand: Nigel Cabourn opened his first store in Japan there in the 1980s. Carrying that history forward, the brand returns to open a new store in the neighborhood he loved.

Rather than simply a place to shop, the store is conceived as a new base from which to carry the person of Nigel Cabourn, his philosophy, and his passion for making things into the future.

A Cafe Space Inspired by His Love of Coffee

Within the store's Kanto-largest sales floor sits Nigel Cabourn COFFEE, the brand's first cafe space. Supervised by Pappelburg, a coffee specialty shop long loved in Tokyo's Hachioji, the cafe offers an original blend inspired by the brand's world alongside drinks such as the flat white that Nigel Cabourn favored.

Nigel Cabourn, who loved coffee, always made time to enjoy his favorite cup wherever his travels took him, treasuring that time above all else. The cafe space, which reflects this side of his lifestyle, lets visitors feel the brand's world while spending a relaxed moment.

Beyond shopping, the space is meant to function as a new community space where people can gather, talk, and get to know the brand more deeply.

This edition also reflects Nigel Cabourn's world of travel as a source of creativity, engraved with the new store's opening date, its location, and the messages "Cheers body!" and "Love Nige x."

The silver and black colorways for this release express the rugged, worn texture of vintage pieces alongside the understated yet lively atmosphere of Omotesando.
