A coffee and sweets festival is set to take place in Mitsuke City, Niigata for the very first time. On June 13 (Sat) and 14 (Sun), 2026, the "Coffee and Sweets Festival" will be held at the civic exchange center "Neble Mitsuke." This is the first event of its kind in Mitsuke City dedicated entirely to coffee and sweets.
Twenty establishments from across Niigata Prefecture — including coffee shops, restaurants, and kitchen cars — will gather under one roof.
From slow-roasted deep-brew coffee and authentic Vietnamese coffee to doughnuts made with local Niigata ingredients and crispy-chewy bubble waffles, there is something to discover at every booth. Visitors can hop between stalls and find their favorite coffee and snack pairing.

A coffee seminar by Etsumi Saito, representative of the Coffee Taste Research Institute, will be held on the same day. The two-hour session includes coffee, dessert, and a souvenir, offering a deeper dive into the world of coffee.
