The call of "Yaa Yadoo!" is set to echo through Ota City once again as the Ojima Neputa Festival returns for another lively summer.
Ota City's major summer event has been confirmed for August 14 (Friday) and 15 (Saturday). Neputa floats standing about 7 meters tall, along with rousing drum-and-flute performances, will bring energy to the festival grounds as participating groups take part in the parade. On August 15 (Saturday), the professional volleyball team Gunma Green Wings will also join the festival.
