About Gamagori Uta

Gamagori Uta character illustration

Gamagori Uta (がまごおり うた) is the 133rd character of the Onsen Musume project, unveiled on July 6, 2025, and is inspired by the Gamagori Onsen-kyo area. Her character design is by illustrator Shokuen (色塩), and she is voiced by Koko Hayashi (林 鼓子).

She is described as a warm and friendly character who keeps a relaxed, easygoing pace and is easy to approach. She loves composing tanka poetry and often goes for walks to find seasonal inspiration. She admires the classical poet Fujiwara no Toshinari and likes to say "That's yugen (profound grace)" when complimenting things — though she doesn't fully grasp the meaning herself.

More information is available on the Onsen Musume official website.
