Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen Launches Summer Wellbeing Stay Plan

Hotel Indigo Inuyama Urakuen, a lifestyle boutique hotel nestled in Inuyama — a city in Aichi Prefecture known for two National Treasures — is introducing its Summer Wellbeing Stay Plan starting May 6, 2026. The plan invites guests to unwind through a curated combination of seasonal dining, natural hot springs, and fitness, reflecting the rich landscapes and food culture of the Tokai region.

The dinner course centers on locally sourced vegetables and carefully prepared dashi, with each dish designed to tell a story rooted in the flavors and scenery of the area.

Dinner Menu

Winter melon is gently simmered to a jade green in shojin (vegetarian) dashi made from dried shiitake and kombu, then paired with juuroku-sasage — a traditional green bean cultivated in Aichi and Gifu — and finished with a fragrant edamame and kinome oil.

A nourishing broth built on shojin dashi, adorned with flowering and green vegetables. Served alongside a bamboo-leaf-wrapped grilled onigiri seasoned with "yama-uni" — a traditional condiment from the Kawata district of Sabae, Fukui Prefecture — and miso. The onigiri can be enjoyed on its own or poured over with dashi in ochazuke style.
