ORBIS Inc. (headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) launches new limited-edition designs for its "ORBIS U DOT Essence Lotion" on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Since its founding, ORBIS has been a beauty brand built on the belief in trusting and drawing out the skin's own power. Since 2018, under the brand message "ここちを美しく。," the company has approached comfort not simply as a feeling, but as something to study scientifically.
Because skincare is something people reach for every day, ORBIS wanted to deliver not just performance but a sense of comfort that fills the heart each time the bottle is picked up. With that in mind, the brand created limited-edition designs that bring the beauty of two famous paintings — Vincent van Gogh's "Sunflowers" and Claude Monet's "Water Lilies" — onto the bottle itself.
In 2024, an "ORBIS U Essence Lotion" featuring designs inspired by famous paintings was sold exclusively at the brand's Omotesando flagship store, "SKINCARE LOUNGE BY ORBIS," and drew a strong response.
Building on that reception, ORBIS wanted more people to experience that sense of color through its top-tier (※1) anti-aging (※2) line as well, and a new limited painting-inspired design has now arrived for "ORBIS U DOT Essence Lotion." For the first time, it will also be sold at directly-run stores nationwide and through the official online shop, so more people can pick it up. The limited-edition bottles bring both a firming feel and everyday color to those who use them.

Selected from roughly 15,000 combinations through ORBIS's own research, "G.D.F. Activator" is formulated to guide skin toward all-directional firmness. The formula also draws on firmness research grounded in more than 60 years of skin science research, with the moisturizing ingredient "GL Root Booster" and the whitening active ingredient tranexamic acid, which suppresses melanin production and helps prevent spots and freckles. Together, these ingredients deliver moisture to every corner of the stratum corneum and support skin with firmness and radiance.
2. Proprietary Technology That Delivers a Complex Ingredient Holding Three Times the Moisture of Hyaluronic Acid to the Stratum Corneum
The complex ingredient, which can hold three times the moisture of hyaluronic acid, is condensed to 1/6000 the size of a pore. Combined with a penetration-support technology, this allows large ingredients that normally cannot pass through the surface of the stratum corneum to reach every corner of it.
