The Osaka Municipal Museum of Art, located in Tennoji Park, is set to hold the 90th Anniversary Commemorative Special Exhibition "Full Force! Stories of Treasures: Episodes of Beauty Traced with the Osaka Municipal Museum of Art" from Saturday, April 25 to Sunday, June 21, 2026. Pre-sale tickets go on sale on Wednesday, February 25, and related events have also been announced.
Originally opened on May 1, 1936, the museum reaches its 90th anniversary in 2026. The exhibition centers on treasured works from the museum's collection and loans, weaving together the stories behind the museum, the narratives embedded in the artworks, and a look at the history and future of art. Approximately 200 works will be on display across two exhibition periods.

Pre-sale tickets are available from Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM through Friday, April 24 at 11:59 PM.
Pre-sale Prices:
- General: ¥1,600
- High school / University students: ¥1,000
Tickets can be purchased through the official online ticketing platform, Ticket Pia, Lawson Ticket, CN Play Guide, e+, and Seven Ticket. Tickets are not sold at the museum's own ticket counter.
Free admission applies to junior high school students and younger, guests aged 90 and over (proof required), and holders of a Japanese disability certificate, including one caregiver. Guests aged 65 to 89 residing in Osaka City are required to pay the standard admission fee.
Related Events
A series of events will be held alongside the exhibition. All events take place at the 1st floor "Jaorium." No reservation is required, but numbered tickets will be distributed at the reception desk starting 30 minutes before each event. Admission is free with a valid exhibition ticket for the day.
