Starting June 16, 2026, The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Osaka Midosuji, located along Osaka's main thoroughfare of Midosuji, will begin serving "Osaka Beer" at its 15F bar lounge "THE BAR." Four varieties of this unpasteurized, unfiltered craft beer — brewed with living yeast and available only in the Osaka area — have been selected for the menu, each accompanied by a dedicated pairing dish that highlights the local flavors of an Osaka summer.

Osaka Beer Lineup and Pairing Foods
Osaka Beer: K.I.X
A Belgian-style ale with a clean, crisp character — bright acidity balanced by mild sweetness and depth without any heaviness. The recommended food pairing is the Seasonal Parfait (¥2,500), where the beer's refreshing quality brings out the freshness of seasonal fruit and the sweetness of cream. ※Menu contents may vary by season. Osaka Beer: 知らんけど。(Shiranken Do.)
A juicy IPA — one of the styles that sparked the craft beer boom — featuring vibrant, floral hops with a light, approachable finish. The recommended food pairing is Matcha Crème Brûlée (¥1,400), where the pleasant bitterness of matcha and the caramelized aroma of the brûlée layer beautifully with the beer's fruity fragrance.
Osaka Beer: ちょっとにがいやつ (Chotto Nigai Yatsu)
An IPA with a smooth, well-balanced bitterness and aroma — a gradual bloom of hops creates an addictive, lingering finish. The recommended food pairing is Lamb Pastilla with Harissa Sauce (¥4,000), where the savory, spiced lamb and the toasty pastry pastry complement the beer's bitterness and long finish.
Osaka Beer: ORIGINAL
An unfiltered pilsner with living natural yeast, offering a smooth and mellow mouthfeel — considered the signature beer of the Osaka Beer lineup. The recommended food pairing is Lamb, Crown Daisy, and Pecorino Cheese Pizza (¥2,500), where the texture of crown daisy and the saltiness of pecorino cheese bring out the beer's inherent richness and toasty aroma.
The hotel is located in the Orbic Midosuji Building on Osaka's Midosuji, accessible in about 3 minutes on foot from Yodoyabashi Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, or about 4 minutes from Honmachi Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji/Chuo Line.
