Born in Tokyo in 1946.
After attending Aoyama Gakuin Junior and Senior High School, he graduated from the Graphic Design Department at Tama Art University. In 1970, he began his career as an illustrator with the inaugural issue of "an・an," and his work has since expanded to magazines and advertising. OSAMU GOODS, born from the English nursery rhyme Mother Goose motif, has been commercialized since 1976 and continues to be cherished by many people without losing its appeal.
