A special event celebrating Ezaki Glico's long-selling frozen dessert brand Papico is coming to three venues across Tokyo from May 4 to 6, 2026. A towering 2.4-meter-tall giant gacha machine called the "Monster Capsule" will be installed at each venue, and visitors can spin it for a chance to win exclusive Papico merchandise.

What Is the Monster Capsule?
The Monster Capsule is one of Japan's largest rental gacha machines, first introduced in January 2021. Available in three heights — 2.0m, 2.4m, and 3.0m — this event uses the 2.4m version. The machines dispense extra-large 160mm-diameter capsules and have been used at a wide range of events, from product launches and local festivals to sports venues and artist concerts.
