A new collaboration between Pasco (Shikishima Seipan Co., Ltd.) and Lotte brings the beloved Suika Bar ice cream to life in a completely different form. The new product, "Suika Bar Turned into a Soufflé Cake!?", will be sold at supermarkets and drug stores in the Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions for a one-month limited period starting June 1, 2026 (Monday).
The soufflé cake is made with 100% domestic wheat and has a light, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Its batter is crafted in two layers—green on the outside and red on the inside—to represent the skin and flesh of a watermelon, while chocolate chips stand in for the seeds. The red layer is made with sweetened paste from domestically grown watermelon, recreating the sweet and refreshing flavor that has made Suika Bar a classic.
Bitter chocolate chips are used throughout to add a flavor and texture contrast. The cake can also be enjoyed frozen for a different take on the treat.

The packaging features "Suikaba-Man," the character associated with the Suika Bar brand, making the collaboration immediately recognizable at a glance.
About Suika Bar
Suika Bar was released by Lotte in 1986 as a new type of stick ice cream. Designed to look like a triangular slice of watermelon—complete with chocolate chip seeds—it has remained a long-selling brand that has stayed nearly unchanged since its debut. This year marks its 40th anniversary.
