Pasco's "Mitasare Sweets" series — a lineup of Western-style baked goods designed to bring the quality of specialty pastry shops into everyday home enjoyment — is welcoming two new tarts on May 1, 2026 (Friday). The "Hokkaido Cream Cheese Tart" and "Okinawa Purple Sweet Potato Tart" will be available at supermarkets and drugstores across the Kanto, Chubu, Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions.
Hokkaido Cream Cheese Tart
The Hokkaido Cream Cheese Tart is made using 100% Hokkaido cream cheese "Luxe" by Hokkaido Dairy, which accounts for 97% of the cheese content in the product. Lemon juice has been incorporated so the tart can also be enjoyed chilled, lending it a flavor reminiscent of a rare cheesecake.

"Luxe" is a cream cheese manufactured and sold by Hokkaido Dairy Co., Ltd. (Hakodate City, Hokkaido). Made with fresh milk from cows raised in Hokkaido's bountiful natural environment, it is known for its smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture and creamy flavor.
Okinawa Purple Sweet Potato Tart
The Okinawa Purple Sweet Potato Tart features a tart base topped with cake dough and a cream made from Okinawa-grown purple sweet potatoes, then baked. The recipe takes its cue from the purple sweet potato tart, one of Okinawa's most beloved souvenirs.
