Piyorin, the iconic chick-shaped sweet from Nagoya, is heading to Hokkaido for the very first time. During the "Aichi/Tokai Fair" at AEON MALL Sapporo Hassamu (Nishi-ku, Sapporo), Piyorin will be available in limited quantities on April 18 (Saturday) and 19 (Sunday), 2026—a milestone moment as the sweet approaches its 15th anniversary.

The fair showcases popular Aichi gourmet offerings, and will also feature a performance by the "Nagoya Omotenashi Busho-tai."

What Is Piyorin?
Piyorin is a fresh sweet crafted from pudding made with locally sourced Nagoya Cochin eggs, wrapped in a vanilla-scented Bavarian cream, and dusted with powdered sponge cake—all shaped to resemble a fluffy baby chick.
Regularly sold at a shop inside Nagoya Station and at a store with an attached production facility in Kasugai City, Aichi, Piyorin is celebrating its 15th anniversary on July 1, 2026. A special 15th anniversary site is available to mark the occasion.
A new store, "Piyorin Village," is also planned to open at the Nagoya Station Central Concourse in June 2026.
