Shiroi Koibito Park (白い恋人パーク) in Sapporo, Hokkaido, will hold its annual winter event "Shiroi Koibito Park Sweet Illumination 2026 – 50th WINTER WITH LOVE –" (白い恋人パーク スイートイルミネーション2026 ～50th WINTER WITH LOVE～) from Tuesday, December 1, 2026 to Wednesday, March 31, 2027.
This year's theme is "50th WINTER WITH LOVE." Shiroi Koibito marks 50 years since its release, and the park celebrates the milestone with newly designed snow crystals and dazzling lights. The main tree appears as a large heart modeled on the Shiroi Koibito package, a special illumination created with 50 years of feeling.
On opening day, December 1, a lighting ceremony starts at 5:10 PM. Tron (トロン) the brown bear, a popular park character, and Dore-kun (ドーレくん) of Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo (北海道コンサドーレ札幌) appear and join visitors to celebrate the moment the lights come on.
During the illumination period, special sweets such as "Shiroi Koibito Soft Serve – 50th Anniversary Edition –" and the limited-quantity "Shiroi Koibito Nama Choco Sandwich" are also on sale.

Illumination Spots
The illumination spots are available from December 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.
50th Winter Radiance Heart (New Area)
This brilliant illumination stands at the center of the garden. Modeled on the Shiroi Koibito package, the main symbol features a large heart with the 50th anniversary logo placed beneath it.
At 15 and 45 minutes past every hour, the heart object sparkles in colorful lights.
50th Snow Dome (New Area)
A large snow dome completely encloses the 50th anniversary logo. Snow motifs decorate the inside of the dome.
London Bus Area (New Area)
A bright red double-decker London bus is decorated with illumination. Next to it shines a tree studded with snow crystals.
Snow Crystal Arch (New Area)
This sparkling arch features the newly designed Shiroi Koibito snow crystal, "White Snow" (ホワイトスノー). It lights up winter at the Bus Stop Garden (バスストップガーデン), which opened in 2026.
Illuminated Photo Zone
A wintry photo spot decorated with blue light and snow crystals. Visitors can also take a photo as if popping out of a heart-shaped hole.
Luminous Sweetness
In addition to the white glowing illumination, this area is filled with a softly spreading, sweet and happy fragrance. Visitors can spend a magical moment of light and scent.
Welcome Gate
A welcome gate designed to impress and surprise visitors as they arrive. It is a popular photo spot.
Light Tunnel
A glowing tunnel decorated with many light bulbs, perfect for photos. Enjoy it as a photo spot.

Shiroi Koibito Soft Serve – 50th Anniversary Edition – (白い恋人ソフトクリーム ～50th Anniversary Edition～)

Shiroi Koibito Soft Serve is topped with sparkling sugar and marzipan in the Shiroi Koibito 50th anniversary design. Enjoy it while looking at the illumination.

Clam Chowder (クラムチャウダー)

A creamy clam chowder that brings out the flavors of clams and dairy.

Café Butlers Wharf (カフェ・バトラーズワーフ)
Shiroi Koibito Nama Choco Sandwich, White/Black (白い恋人 生チョコサンド（ホワイト/ブラック）)
Price: ¥600 per piece (tax included)
The "Shiroi Koibito Nama Choco Sandwich" sandwiches nama chocolate, a blend of Shiroi Koibito chocolate and fresh cream. It is normally available only in the paid area, so this is a good chance to try it.

Lighting Ceremony
Count down together with Tron the brown bear (ひぐまのトロン) and Dore-kun (ドーレくん) of Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo (北海道コンサドーレ札幌) to liven up the lighting ceremony.
