Konica Minolta Planetaria TOKYO (Tokyo, Yurakucho) will host a new relaxation experience called "Plane-tariumm -SUNSET CHILL CAMP-", combining planetarium and camping, starting October 7th, 2025.
Visitors can sit in camp chairs surrounded by a canopy of stars, enjoying an extraordinary moment that feels like camping under the real night sky in the great outdoors.
The program features only environmental sounds as background music - crackling fires, ocean waves, and insect chirps that gently soothe the soul. For enhanced enjoyment, guests can also listen to their favorite music from their own smartphones or music players during the show.
Gazing at the stars with your personal playlist creates a unique and luxurious experience unavailable in traditional planetariums.
[Important Notes for Using Your Smartphone/Music Player]
- Headphones or earphones are required when playing music. Speaker use is strictly prohibited.
- Smartphones, music players, headphones, earphones, and other related devices are not available for rental.
- No power outlets or charging stations are available inside the dome.
- The dome does not have WiFi. Streaming music will incur data charges at your own expense.
- Please be careful about sound leakage and screen light from your smartphone to be considerate of other guests (staff may approach you if it affects surrounding guests).
- For a relaxing viewing experience with music, we recommend creating playlists and downloading songs in advance.
The dome displays seasonal constellations visible from October to November. Accompanied by sunset scenes on the beach, visitors can enjoy an immersive experience that makes them feel like they're at a real campsite even while in the heart of the city. Whether you want to carefully observe the constellations or simply doze off in camp chairs surrounded by environmental sounds, the experience is entirely up to you.
