Pokémon 30th Anniversary Tie-Up Campaign Comes to Highway Service Areas and Parking Areas Nationwide

NEXCO East Japan, NEXCO Central Japan, and NEXCO West Japan are joining forces with Pokémon's 30th anniversary to launch a nationwide tie-up campaign. Running from Wednesday, July 1 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the campaign covers 234 service areas (SA) and parking areas (PA) across the country in the three regions.

The headline attraction is an original stamp rally, where each SA and PA features a different Pokémon — from traveling companion Pokémon to Legendary and Mythical Pokémon — making every stop on the highway a unique encounter.

This campaign ties into Pokémon's 30th anniversary theme of "でかける" ("going out"), as The Pokémon Company rolls out a year of special programming around themed pillars.

A dedicated website is planned to go live on Friday, June 26, 2026: https://nexco-all-stamprally.jp/pokemon/

① Original Stamp Rally (All 234 Locations)

Collect Pokémon stamps at participating SA and PA locations. Each stamp machine features a different Pokémon — no two locations have the same one. Collect six stamps (one "Starting Partner" Pokémon and five "Traveling Companion" Pokémon) to enter draws for Prize A or Prize B. Collect three additional Legendary/Mythical Pokémon stamps on top of those six, and you can enter for the SP Prize.

  • Prize A: NEXCO Original Pokémon 30th Anniversary Sticker Book — 1,000 winners
  • Prize B: NEXCO Original Pokémon 30th Anniversary Gold Medal — 1,000 winners
  • SP Prize: NEXCO Original Pokémon 30th Anniversary Travel Outing Set — 250 winners

Application period: July 1 (Wed) to October 9 (Fri), 2026. Prizes will be shipped to winners (no separate announcement). Full rules and entry details are available on the campaign website.

② Original Photo Panels (54 Locations)

Original photo panels featuring Pokémon will be installed at 54 SA and PA locations. The panel designs differ across the three regions (East, Central, and West Japan), so travelers can look forward to discovering region-specific designs as they travel. Check the campaign website for installation locations.

In addition to the photo panels, decorations will be displayed throughout the areas, so be sure to stop by.

③ Original Merchandise Sales (Acrylic Stands at 142 Locations, Acrylic Keychains at 170 Locations)

Exclusive Pokémon 30th anniversary tie-up merchandise will be available at participating SA and PA locations. Items include an acrylic stand and an acrylic keychain, both featuring original designs from the Pokémon and NEXCO collaboration.

  • Acrylic Stand: 1,850 yen (tax included)
  • Acrylic Keychain: 1,650 yen (tax included)

In Central and West Japan regions, additional original goods are also planned. For details, check the respective company websites:

Merchandise is available during the campaign period only.

④ Commemorative Medals in Pokémon HOME (9 Locations)

At select SA and PA locations, visitors can receive a commemorative medal in the smartphone version of Pokémon HOME. The medal design varies by region (East, Central, and West Japan), and each medal includes the name of the SA or PA where it was received — a digital travel keepsake to go along with the physical stamp rally.

Pickup locations and instructions will be available on the campaign website.
