Sapporo, Hokkaido-based confectionery maker Royce' Confect Co., Ltd. (ロイズコンフェクト) started selling two limited chocolates on November 4, 2026, made with whiskies from Bruichladdich Distillery (ブルックラディ蒸留所) on Islay, the Scottish island often called the "holy land of whisky." The products are available for a limited period and in limited quantities through Royce' mail order and Royce' directly-operated stores.

Two Gifts From the Whisky Island

Bruichladdich Distillery produces two whiskies with contrasting characters: The Classic Laddie 10 Year Old (ザ・クラシック・ラディ 10年) and Port Charlotte Scottish Barley (ポートシャーロット スコティッシュ・バーレイ). Royce' has paired each with its chocolate, describing the distillery as one whose approach to craftsmanship resonates with its own. The result is a pairing in which whisky and chocolate bring out each other's character.

Royce' does not sell the whiskies featured here.
