The "Kaohana Design" is a modern reinterpretation of the "Hello Kitty Kao Series" design that first gained popularity in the late 1990s under Sanrio Co., Ltd. Revived for a new era, the design brings back the iconic combination of flowers and houndstooth patterns that defined the period. The collection appeals equally to those who remember the original trend and to Gen Z fans with a fondness for Heisei-era gyaru aesthetics.
