Benelic Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Yokoyama) is launching a new capsule toy series called "Sanrio Characters Macaron Case" (5 designs / ¥400 per capsule, tax included), featuring characters from Sanrio Co., Ltd. The series will go on sale from late June 2026, rolling out gradually at capsule toy vending machine corners nationwide.
About the Sanrio Characters Macaron Case (5 Designs)
Sanrio Characters are reimagined as adorable palm-sized cases designed to look just like real macarons.
The lineup includes five designs: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Kuromi, My Melody, and Tuxedosam. With their round, compact shapes and color schemes that evoke real sweets, these cases are so charming you'll want to display them on a plate. The top half of each macaron captures the distinctive features of each character — such as a red ribbon or a brown beret — rendered in a macaron-inspired deformed style original to each design.
The bottom halves are all the same shape, so you can mix and match the tops and bottoms however you like — for example, pairing the Tuxedosam top with a yellow bottom for a fun custom combination.
The case opens and closes at the cream layer in the middle, providing practical storage for small accessories like jewelry or clips.
These are great to carry around as compact pouches, or to display on a table, dresser, or entryway shelf at home.
