Sapporo Grand Hotel is bringing a taste of Okinawa to Hokkaido this summer. For two days only — July 19 (Sunday) and July 20 (Monday, a national holiday), 2026 — the hotel will host an Okinawa Fair to celebrate the opening of its group hotel, BLISSTIA SUITES & RESORT Okinawa Onna Village.
BLISSTIA SUITES & RESORT Okinawa Onna Village opens in Onna Village, Okinawa Prefecture, on July 15 (Wednesday), 2026. To mark the occasion, the fair's venue, Hokkaido Dining Big Jokki, will serve an all-you-can-eat spread of more than 30 Okinawan dishes, including live cooking of Agu pork shabu-shabu and Okinawa soki soba.
Live performances of Okinawan music, including eisa dance and sanshin, will also take place, along with a raffle offering a pair of accommodation vouchers for BLISSTIA SUITES & RESORT Okinawa Onna Village and other Okinawan specialty products. Reservations made by July 15 (Wednesday) qualify for an early-bird discount.
