THE HIRAMATSU HOTELS & RESORTS GINOZA, a small luxury hotel on the east coast of Okinawa's main island in Ginoza Village, has begun accepting reservations for a new consecutive-night stay plan. Limited to two groups per day, the package offers distinct dining experiences on each evening — a French cuisine full-course at the restaurant on night one, and a special Aguu pork shabu-shabu dinner served in the villa on night two.
Two Okinawan Dining Experiences Across Two Evenings
On the first evening, guests are treated to a full-course French dinner centered on Okinawa-grown ingredients. The menu is crafted by Executive Chef Yoshinobu Kinoshita, whose restaurant has been listed in the French dining guide Gault & Millau for four consecutive years as an Okinawan French establishment. Having visited producers across the island over many years, Chef Kinoshita currently sources approximately 80% of the course's ingredients from within Okinawa Prefecture.

On the second evening, guests enjoy a shabu-shabu dinner in the comfort of their own villa, starring Chura-shima Aguu, Okinawa's branded pork. The spread includes original dipping sauces from the chef — such as shikuwasa ponzu and sesame sauce — along with island vegetables, seasonal fruit, and soba to finish the meal. Shabu-shabu has deep roots in Okinawan dining culture, enjoyed year-round regardless of the heat, making it a fitting choice after a day of marine activities or a relaxed evening indoors.
