Specialty coffee shop Sarutahiko Coffee will open its second Kyoto location, "Sarutahiko Coffee Kyoto Takashimaya S.C. [T8]," on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The store is located in specialty store area T8 on the basement level of Kyoto Takashimaya S.C., directly connected to the central ticket gate of Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. Takeout customers can pick up their orders right at the ordering booth. Customers who want to stay can use the in-store booth on the underground passage side, which is designed around "the boundary of a space, like stepping from an alley into a tea room."
