A new corn tea is arriving at Seven-Eleven convenience stores across Japan. "Seven Premium Corn Tea" (600ml) goes on sale starting June 16 (Tuesday), priced at 108 yen (tax-exclusive; 116.64 yen tax-inclusive at the 8% reduced tax rate).
Corn tea has long been a popular drink in Korea, and it has been gaining increased attention in Japan in recent years. The Seven Premium version is made with 100% Hokkaido-grown corn and features a unique double-roasting method that combines two types of roasting to bring out the ingredient's natural sweetness and aroma, while keeping it caffeine-free.

Double-Roasting to Draw Out the Corn's Aroma

The tea is made using a double-roasting process: one batch of corn is roasted slowly at low heat, while another is roasted at high heat. This combination draws out a deep, toasty fragrance while preserving the ingredient's natural sweetness. The result is a drink that delivers a sweet, aromatic flavor from the very first sip, with a clean and refreshing finish.
Caffeine-Free, Perfect for Any Time of Day
Because the tea is caffeine-free, it can be enjoyed at any time of day — whether while working at a desk or before bed. The 600ml size is well-suited for regular hydration, especially as temperatures rise heading into summer.
