Shikoku Aquarium, located in Utazu, Kagawa, will extend its regular closing time from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM for four days over Golden Week—from May 2 (Sat) to May 5 (Tue, holiday)—for the night aquarium event "Nightscape Koganeiro 2026 G.W."
During the evening hours, the aquarium's tank lighting shifts to deep blue, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. A sunset program featuring dolphins silhouetted against a golden sky also runs during the event, with the scenery changing each day depending on the sky conditions.

Evening Lighting
From 6:00 PM onward, selected tank lighting inside the aquarium changes to a deep blue, evoking the feeling of walking through the ocean. The outdoor art spot "UMI to SORA" is also illuminated during the evening.
Dolphin Sunset Program
A highlight unique to this night event, the Dolphin Sunset Program features dolphins leaping and swimming as the sun sets. Because the sky changes every day, no two shows look exactly the same.
