About the Brand

About "Kujukushima Senbei"
The story begins in the pristine air of Kujukushima.
Shortly after World War II, in 1948, a small confectionery shop was born in Sasebo City, Nagasaki.
In an era when ingredients were scarce and sweets were rare, customers would bring rationed raw sugar to the shop, which would process it into candies and rice crackers. This was the beginning.
Through trial and error to create something new and unique to the region, "Kujukushima Senbei" was born. Thanks to the joy and affection it brought to many people, "Kujukushima Senbei Honpo" was established.
