A new winter flavor is joining the Kodawari Sakaba no Lemon Sour series: "Kodawari Sakaba no Lemon Sour 〈Mizoremon〉" (こだわり酒場のレモンサワー〈みぞれモン〉) from Suntory goes on sale nationwide for a limited time on Tuesday, December 15, 2026.
About the Series
The Kodawari Sakaba no Lemon Sour series is positioned as a "classic, down-the-middle lemon sour" and has been well received. It is easy to enjoy the taste of a lemon sour like the ones served at restaurants and bars at home, and its packaging design evokes the atmosphere of a distinctive tavern.
For this release, Suntory is launching Mizoremon, a flavor suited to winter, as a limited edition with the aim of expanding the series' fan base.
About the Contents and Packaging
The drink uses lemon juice made by pressing the lemons with their peel and then carefully filtering it, so the lemon flavor can be enjoyed through to the finish. A special shochu that blends three types of shochu is used to bring out the appeal of the alcohol itself.
The package has a background inspired by a sky from which sleet (mizore) is falling, with the words "Nigori Jitate" (にごり仕立て, cloudy-style) added to express the drink's characteristics and the seasonal feel.
