Suntory is adding two limited-quantity items to its Japanese craft gin lineup: "ROKU Yuzu Yukimi Edition" launches nationwide on Tuesday, October 6, and "ROKU Premium Gin Soda" — the brand's first-ever canned product — arrives at convenience stores nationwide on the same day (availability may vary by store).
The ROKU (six) brand debuted in 2017 and is known for a layered, delicate, and smooth flavor built from six Japanese botanicals — cherry blossom, cherry leaf, sencha, gyokuro, sansho pepper, and yuzu — combined with eight traditional gin botanicals: juniper berry, coriander seed, angelica root, angelica seed, cardamom seed, cinnamon, bitter orange peel, and lemon peel. The gin is sold in around 60 countries as of the end of 2025, with overseas sales accounting for roughly 90% of the total, and it ranks second in a global premium gin ranking based on 2025 sales volume among brands with an average retail price of $30 or more (per IWSR 2026 data).
With these two new releases, Suntory aims to grow the brand's fan base further: the Yuzu Yukimi Edition lets drinkers enjoy a seasonal expression of ROKU, while the canned soda brings the brand's delicate flavor to a more casual, ready-to-drink format.

This edition keeps the signature delicate balance of ROKU while highlighting the aroma of yuzu, the botanical that comes into season during winter among the brand's six Japanese ingredients. It offers a flavor that balances the gentle bitterness of yuzu peel with an elegant, fresh citrus aroma.
The bottle's packaging uses Echizen washi paper illustrated with yuzu and snowflakes, expressing a wintry, Japanese seasonal feel.
ROKU Premium Gin Soda
This canned gin soda brings the gorgeous aromas of ROKU's six Japanese botanicals into a ready-to-drink format, with a smooth mouthfeel and a lingering, rich finish.
The can's design reinterprets ROKU's signature washi-paper label, with an illustration of the six Japanese botanicals dancing across the surface.
