Suntory Introduces Year-of-the-Sheep Zodiac Series With Whisky Royal, Old, and The Premium Malt's

Suntory Co., Ltd. will introduce "Suntory Whisky Royal Bottle" and "Suntory Old Whisky Label" nationwide in limited quantities from November 4th (Wednesday), followed by "The Premium Malt's <Zodiac Design Can (Year of the Sheep)>" and "The Premium Malt's 香るエール <Zodiac Design Can (Year of the Sheep)>" from November 24th (Tuesday)*1.

The company's zodiac series has become a fixture of the year-end and New Year season, popular every year both as a gift for the winter gift-giving season and as a way to add a festive touch to the dinner table.

Suntory Whisky Royal and Suntory Old Whisky

"Suntory Whisky Royal Bottle" is designed around a sheep motif, an animal long cherished as an auspicious symbol of household safety and peace. The bottle is decorated with a Shosoin floral crest that symbolizes prosperity and eternal beauty, while the sheep itself is rendered in a rounded, endearing form, expressing a wish for lasting harmony and peace to continue forever.

"Suntory Old Whisky Label" features a striking label design depicting a sheep alongside the Shosoin floral crest. Its auspicious, festive design adds a touch of color to daily life as the new year approaches.

The Premium Malt's and The Premium Malt's 香るエール

Alongside the 2027 zodiac sign of the sheep, the cans carry a special design featuring other auspicious motifs such as pine, bamboo, plum blossoms, and Mount Fuji, making them a fitting choice for New Year's greetings. The six-can packs and 24-can cases have also been finished in vivid packaging that brings color to the year-end and New Year season.
