About the Collaboration
2026 marks the 80th anniversary of the French publication of The Little Prince. It is a timeless classic that has been read for generations around the world and loved by children and adults alike, combining literary depth and poetic beauty with questions about love, human connection, and what truly matters.
Fairycake Fair's wish to "bring small joys and discoveries to everyday life" was layered onto the world of the book, which led to this collaboration.
About the Christmas Collection
The collection is called CHRISTMAS COLLECTION 2026. Its items are meant to be eaten, given to someone, displayed at home, or carried through the day. They include a biscuit tin and dragées, which are traditional celebration sweets given with wishes for happiness, as well as an ornament, a pouch, an embroidered bag, and stickers.
The collection is meant to offer not only the products themselves but also the story and world behind them, so that buyers feel "I want to choose this" or "I want to give this to that person."
Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince depicts feelings for others and things that cannot be seen but matter. This winter, Fairycake Fair has layered that story onto sweets and small items that can be enjoyed every day, whether chosen for oneself or given to someone with the thought "they would surely like this." The sweets can also prompt people to recall the story or think of someone.
There are six items in the lineup. All prices include tax.
Sweets to Share Around the Table
The Little Prince Little Star Biscuit Tin (星の王子さま ちいさな星のビスケット缶)
Price: ¥3,000 (tax included)
Product URL: https://fairycake.jp/products/10810220

A biscuit tin that puts the warm world of The Little Prince into gentle baked sweets.
It holds seven fermented-butter biscuits embossed with an illustration of the Prince and one star-shaped biscuit coated in sweet-tart lemon icing. The biscuits have a crisp texture, the rich flavor of fermented butter, and the tang of lemon.

The tin is scattered with memorable scenes from the story, centered on the morning the Prince leaves his planet. It also includes a scene just before he learns what is truly special and the "boa and elephant" illustration (うわばみとゾウ) familiar to devoted readers.
Each of Saint-Exupéry's charming illustrations carries a small story of its own, so the tin lets buyers enjoy the world of the book as well as the sweets. It is intended both for oneself and as a gift for someone special.
The Little Prince Falling Stars Dragée Tin (星の王子さま 星ふるドラジェ缶)
Price: ¥1,500 per tin (tax included)

- "The Day of Departure" (出発の日): https://fairycake.jp/products/10810221

A small gift tin filled with dragées in soft, pale colors reminiscent of twinkling stars.
Dragée, a traditional European confection also known as a "seed of happiness," is an almond chocolate wrapped in a thin sugar shell, with a light and crisp texture. It is a festive sweet for Christmas gatherings.
The lids feature two memorable scenes, one from the start of the Prince's journey and one that leads to an important realization. The tins pair the dragées, celebration sweets given with wishes for happiness, with the story of The Little Prince.
The tin suits snack time, a small thank-you for a friend or coworker, and petit gifts to bring to Christmas and year-end gatherings. It is described as an easy-to-give "small present" for the holiday season.
The Little Prince Orbiting Stars Ornament Box with Biscuits (星の王子さま 星めぐるビスケット入りオーナメントボックス)
Price: ¥1,200 (tax included)
Product URL: https://fairycake.jp/products/10810223

A limited biscuit box that can also be displayed as an ornament.
The house-shaped ornament box depicts the Prince traveling through the sky with migratory birds. It contains three biscuits embossed with an illustration of the Prince. After the biscuits are eaten, the box can be displayed as an ornament, allowing buyers to enjoy the feeling of traveling through the story of The Little Prince.

A mascot pouch in soft mint green, embroidered with the Prince. The back is embroidered with the "boa and elephant" illustration (うわばみとゾウ) familiar from the original book, so the front and back have different designs. A ring is attached, so the pouch can be clipped to an everyday bag and taken along on outings.
It is an item that carries the lingering feeling of the story, keeping the world of The Little Prince close and inviting a glance up at the sky.
The Little Prince Starlight Organza Embroidered Bag (星の王子さま 星あかりのオーガンジー刺繍バッグ)

About The Little Prince
You can't truly see unless you use your heart. What truly matters is invisible to the eye.

The Little Prince is the best-known work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a French writer and aviator.
Saint-Exupéry published a number of works based on his experience as a pilot. He wrote The Little Prince while in exile in the United States during World War II. It was first published in New York in 1943 and was published in France in 1946. In 2026 it marks the 80th anniversary of its French publication.
The story follows a prince from a tiny planet who travels from star to star and, while meeting a fox and a pilot on Earth, reflects on human connection, love, and what truly matters. Taking the form of a fairy tale, it is a philosophical work that looks at life and relationships, and it continues to be read across generations and borders.
There are now more than 680 official translations and total circulation has reached 300 million copies. It is considered one of the representative works of world literature and continues to be passed on to new readers.
