Located in Tokyo's Shinagawa area yet surrounded by abundant greenery, the Prince Hotels in the Takanawa area center their grounds on an approximately 20,000-square-meter Japanese garden lit with bamboo lanterns, offering seasonal charm and elegant moments throughout the year. For "Takanawa no Oshogatsu," the hotels have prepared glamorous music stages, events introducing Japanese culture, and experience programs enjoyable across generations, so that the start of the new year becomes a warm, happy memory for families.
The new year opens with a powerful stage performance by Mie in the glittering grand ballroom "Hiten." On the night of New Year's Day, families can enjoy a musical show by Tashiro Mario and Ishii Kazutaka. The hotels also offer New Year experiences unique to the property, including the Takanawa New Year's Eve bell, a New Year mochi-pounding show, and New Year rakugo storytelling, letting guests feel the arrival of the new year through Japanese culture.
