Toba Kokusai Hotel's afternoon tea changes theme with each season and has earned high praise from many guests. For July and August, the theme is "Shangri-La" (桃源郷) — an idyllic realm far removed from the everyday world, and in Japan a place associated with peach blossoms in full bloom. The menu is filled with peach-based creations designed to evoke that serene, otherworldly atmosphere.
The afternoon tea is available at The Lobby Lounge overlooking Toba Bay, where guests can enjoy a feast for the eyes as well as the palate, surrounded by the beauty of peaches while taking in the scenic views of the bay.
