Tokyo Comic Con 2026 (officially Tokyo Comic Convention 2026) will be held at Makuhari Messe on Friday, December 11, Saturday, December 12, and Sunday, December 13, 2026. The fifth wave of celebrity guests visiting Japan has been announced, along with additional information on celebrity tickets. Counting from its first edition in 2016, the event reaches its 10th anniversary this year, and the anniversary theme is "BEYOND": drawing strength from ten years of history and heading toward a future yet to be seen. With just over a month to go, the lineup for the anniversary year is picking up speed.
"The Origin of the MCU, Mantis After Three Years, and Wong Gau of Kowloon Walled City": Clark Gregg, Pom Klementieff, and Philip Ng Confirmed to Visit Japan
The fifth wave for the 10th anniversary brings three distinctive guests. Clark Gregg, who has continued to play Agent Phil Coulson since "Iron Man," the origin of the MCU, will attend Tokyo Comic Con for the first time. Pom Klementieff, known as Mantis in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" series and a guest who also got the venue excited at Tokyo Comic Con 2023, will visit Japan for the first time in three years. In addition, Philip Ng, who played Wong Gau (王九), the strongest enemy in the Walled City, in "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In," the film that recorded the highest attendance ever for a Hong Kong film, will attend for the first time.
From the world of American comics and from the front lines of Hong Kong action, a lineup that crosses genres and borders will gather at Makuhari Messe in the anniversary year. During the event, the three are scheduled to appear on the main stage and also to take part in photo sessions and autograph sessions.

Clark Gregg
In 2008's "Iron Man," he played S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson and was there at the start of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He went on to appear in "Iron Man 2," "Thor," "The Avengers," and "Captain Marvel," and he starred in all seven seasons of the TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," which aired from 2013 to 2020. He studied theater at New York University and, starting out on the stage, has also written and directed, showing a talent that spans many fields.
Coulson is the "connector" who brought the heroes together and led to the formation of the Avengers, and he is a character dearly loved by fans. Gregg is one of the actors who has watched over the vast story of the MCU for the longest time. With him at Makuhari Messe in the 10th anniversary year, a figure from the origin of the MCU comes to the event.

Pom Klementieff
She first appeared in the MCU as Mantis in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." Mantis is an empath who reads the emotions of those she touches, and Klementieff has given the character its innocence, its humor, and even its poignancy, growing her into one of the signature characters of the series. She has continued in the role in "Avengers: Infinity War," "Avengers: Endgame," "Thor: Love and Thunder," and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3."
On the other hand, in "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning" and "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning," she showed striking action as Paris, the assassin who pursues Ethan Hunt. With a range that makes it hard to believe it is the same actor, she has surprised audiences around the world. Born to a French father and a Korean mother and trained at the prestigious drama school Cours Florent, the talented actress returns to Makuhari Messe after three years.

Philip Ng
He studied Wing Chun and Choy Li Fut from childhood and works as a martial arts instructor alongside his acting career, a genuine practitioner of the martial arts. In 2016's "Birth of the Dragon," he played the legendary martial artist Bruce Lee and drew worldwide attention. He has appeared in many works representing Hong Kong cinema, including "ネイキッド・ソルジャー 亜州大捜査線" and "ダブルフェイス 潜入者," and is also active as an action director.
In 2024, he gave a memorable performance as Wong Gau (王九), the strongest enemy in the Walled City, in "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In," which recorded the highest attendance ever for a Hong Kong film. The film also became a major hit in Japan, with box office revenue surpassing ¥500 million, and it stuck in audiences' memories along with that distinctive laugh. The embodiment of what is now the hottest Hong Kong action comes to Makuhari for the 10th anniversary.
