Tokyo Station Hotel, celebrating its 110th anniversary, will offer an exquisite afternoon tea at its Lobby Lounge starting February 19, 2026. The menu combines the gentle sweetness of white chocolate with the fresh vibrancy of strawberries and citrus fruits in a refined seasonal selection.
The sweets showcase chef's expertise, from traditional French pastries to classic hotel desserts, each dish meticulously crafted to highlight the natural flavors of ingredients. The lineup ranges from elegant French confections to signature hotel favorites, all infused with the chef's skill and creativity. Savory offerings include a truffle-accented quiche and a seafood-rich doria featuring shrimp, scallops, and squid.
The afternoon tea service includes reservations, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxed, elegant experience in the typically bustling Lobby Lounge. Perfect for a personal treat or refreshment, solo visitors are warmly welcomed.
The Sweet Selection
Strawberry Flan: An adaptation of traditional French pastry, this chef's signature features moist cake infused with strawberry and Tahitian vanilla, layered with airy Chantilly cream and dusted with strawberry powder and freshly shaved white chocolate.
Fraise Chocolate Mousse: In a glass, strawberries create a vibrant presentation. Light strawberry mousse conceals rich cream chocolate, complemented by sweet-tart strawberry sauce and fresh strawberries.
Orange Praline Mousse: Built on a chocolate sablé base, refreshing orange mousse encloses white chocolate-flavored praline crunch. The citrus brightness and rich sweetness leave a pleasant aftertaste.
Citrus Mille-Feuille: Bite-sized with a delightful light texture, crisp puff pastry sandwiches custard cream and white chocolate ganache, highlighting seasonal citrus flavors.
Custard Pudding: The classic finale features a firm texture as preferred by the chef. Served with bittersweet caramel and Chantilly cream, this petit-sized version brings the beloved flavor from Bar & Cafe Camellia on the hotel's second floor.
Scones: Available in plain and blue poppy seed varieties, served with clotted cream and strawberry jam, plus a surprise white chocolate condiment from the chef.
Located within the historic Tokyo Station Marunouchi building, Tokyo Station Hotel offers this afternoon tea as an opportunity to savor sweet moments where white chocolate and fruit harmonize beautifully.
