Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. "Benihopee Fair" Celebrates Hinamatsuri with Higashi-Izu Town

Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. specialty stores will host the "Benihopee Fair" from February 1 (Sunday) to February 14 (Saturday), 2026. This event marks the first collaboration with Higashi-Izu Town and coincides with the Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival) celebration.

During the period, two locations within the specialty store building will display "Hina no Tsurushi Kazari" (hanging Hina doll decorations) that originated in Inatori, Higashi-Izu Town. Various events will also take place, including a special "Mini Tsurushi Hina Root Strap" giveaway.

Limited-Time Benihopee Fair

From February 1 (Sunday) to February 14 (Saturday), 14 specialty store restaurants will offer limited-time menu items featuring Benihopee strawberries. The participating restaurants are located in both the New Building and Main Building restaurants, as well as New Building eat-in locations.

About Benihopee

Named for its "cheek-dropping deliciousness," Benihopee is a popular variety born in Shizuoka. The Benihopee used in this fair comes from "Tamura Farm" in Higashi-Izu Town, marketed as "Beni no Kagayaki" (Crimson Brilliance). The farm takes great care in soil cultivation, growing the strawberries using traditional ground cultivation methods. By harvesting only fully ripened fruit, each berry contains concentrated rich sweetness.
