To mark the occasion with an even more indulgent treat, the brand is launching a new product, "Butter Bar," available for a limited time from September 16 (Wednesday) to September 22 (Tuesday, public holiday), 2026, at MVP Sweets on the 1st floor of Daimaru Tokyo.

Tokyo Takanawa Butterista launched in September 2025 with the mission to "make everyday life a little more special." Set in Tokyo's Takanawa neighborhood, the brand offers indulgent, one-of-a-kind butter sweets. Its popular signature item, the Brulee Butter Tart, delivers three textures in a single bite and has been sold at major Tokyo stations, including Tokyo Station and Shinagawa Station, as a gift for expressing gratitude.
Now entering its second year, the brand introduces a butter sweet designed for butter lovers to choose for themselves. The new Butter Bar layers a rich butter cake with a crisp, butter-scented tart crust, resulting in an indulgently rich butter cake that fills the mouth with buttery aroma and flavor.
Alongside the new Butter Bar, the Brulee Butter Tart will also be available in four sizes — 5-piece, 8-piece, 12-piece, and 18-piece boxes. Both will be on offer for a limited time at MVP Sweets on the 1st floor of Daimaru Tokyo.
