Tokyo Tower is launching a series of exciting Valentine's Day events starting February 11th, 2026! From pink illumination to a special nighttime staircase opening, City Pop music, and a delicious food truck festival, there's something for everyone to celebrate love at this iconic landmark.
Love's Step Up! Special Nighttime Opening of Exterior Staircase on Valentine's Day (February 14th)
The famous 600-step open-air exterior staircase connecting Tokyo Tower Foot Town and the Main Deck (150m) is a Tokyo Tower signature experience. Usually open on weekends and holidays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, this Valentine's Day (February 14th) will be special as the staircase remains open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (last entry)!
The real highlight of the nighttime open-air staircase is the unique sensation of climbing through the illuminated steel framework while enjoying the night views.
Even better, February 14th will feature the special "Valentine's Diamond Veil" illumination in pink, creating a magical experience as you climb through the pink-lit tower while taking in the nighttime cityscape. Share this special moment with someone dear as you encourage each other up the stairs – it might just become a literal "step up" in your relationship!

TOKYO TOWER CITY POP CONNECTION Happy before Valentine's Day
On February 13th (Friday), the night before Valentine's Day, perfectly matched sweet, cute, and aggressive DJs will perform together.
The observation deck that has been watching over Tokyo's night views from Showa to Reiwa will overflow with urban, sparkling J-Pop sounds.
Enjoy City Pop DJs and VJs in the sky at 150m height, accompanied by glittering night views.
