Limited-Time Projection Mapping at Tokyo Tower Lets ShiShi Yamazaki's Whales Swim Across Tokyo's Night View

A limited-time projection mapping show is running on the 2nd floor of the Main Deck at Tokyo Tower in Minato, Tokyo. The show is a special collaboration between Tokyo Tower and the Monday 10 PM drama 『南田南弁護士は天才肌』 (カンテレ and Fuji TV network, starring Mana Ashida), and it is directed and produced by NAKED INC.

Whales the Protagonist Loves Swim Through Tokyo's Night View: An Immersive Special Experience in the Drama's World

『南田南弁護士は天才肌』 is a heartwarming courtroom drama about a new lawyer with autism spectrum disorder, the protagonist 南田南, who takes on difficult challenges with a unique perspective and flashes of inspiration and grows along the way.

For this collaboration, the world of the drama unfolds across the wide window that spans approximately 30 m along the north side of the Main Deck, 150 m above ground. Items connected with the protagonist link together, and fantastical whales by popular illustrator ShiShi Yamazaki, who created the drama's poster visual, appear. At the climax, a giant whale leisurely swims through a sea of Tokyo's sparkling night view. Set to the theme song 「いいんじゃない」 by muque, the show offers approximately 1 minute 30 seconds of light that warmly wraps around the protagonist's challenges and growth.
