The Prince Park Tower Tokyo in Minato Ward will be serving a "Miyazaki Ripe Mango Afternoon Tea" from May 1 (Friday) to June 30 (Tuesday), 2026. The limited-time menu showcases fully ripened mangoes from Miyazaki Prefecture, known for their rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture and lush, fruity aroma.
Alongside the seasonal mangoes, the afternoon tea incorporates Japanese black tea (wakocha) grown in Miyazaki Prefecture, selected by the hotel's tea instructor. The wakocha appears in both sweet and savory preparations, and a dedicated variety is offered as a free-flow option throughout the session.
The centerpiece of the sweets selection is "The Mango"—a tart layered with custard cream and fresh cream, then generously topped with Miyazaki ripe mango. Other sweet offerings include a verrine of Miyazaki ripe mango with "Koshun" wakocha, a chocolate mousse encasing a mango compote, and a tigre made with "Minamiasayaka" wakocha, providing a variety of flavors that highlight both the mango and the tea.
On the savory side, the menu includes blini topped with Miyazaki ripe mango and Miyazaki-grown tsukimi ikura (salmon roe), as well as a salad featuring hyugana salmon raised on hyugana citrus. These refreshing, early-summer-inspired dishes round out the experience.
