The two-month campaign includes a one-day-only star observation event on January 25, star-themed concept rooms with indoor planetariums, quiz activities throughout the hotel, and extended day-trip hot spring hours for both overnight guests and day visitors.
One-Day Star Observation Event & Dinner Buffet [Collaboration with Vixen]
On January 25, HOTEL Hoshitori Terrace Sekigane presents "Star Party - Star Observation & Luxurious Dinner Buffet" in collaboration with Vixen, Japan's largest telescope manufacturer.
The star observation session features Vixen telescopes with professional guidance to view Saturn, Jupiter, the moon, the Pleiades star cluster, and winter constellations. The smart telescope Seestar S30 will capture and project images of star clusters and nebulae, offering views of the universe rarely seen with the naked eye.
Following the observation, guests can enjoy a dinner buffet featuring local ingredients. Day-trip hot spring bathing is also available for those interested.

While the rooms typically maintain calm colors, these star decoration rooms are filled with star-themed items. Guests can enjoy a charming stay surrounded by stars, with decorative elements on coffee cups, beds, table lamps, and more. Finding all the "stars" scattered throughout the room becomes part of the experience.
In-Hotel Quiz Activities for Overnight & Day-Trip Visitors
During the "Touch the Stars, Whole Sky Campaign," star-related quizzes will be placed throughout the hotel. Participants who complete the quiz receive a small gift. The hotel will also be decorated with star motifs throughout the campaign period. Guests can enjoy finding both the quiz stations and the stars scattered around the property.
Extended Day-Trip Hot Spring Hours & New Multi-Use Tickets Available
Throughout the campaign period, day-trip hot spring hours extend from the previous 4:00 PM closing time to 8:00 PM (last entry at 7:00 PM).
This extension makes the hot springs accessible to more visitors. The Sekigane Onsen, perfect for warming up on cold winter days, offers a deeply soothing experience.
In response to customer requests, multi-use bathing tickets are now available for purchase.
