"Beer Foam Festa 2026" is set to run at Restaurant Ricomonte on the 15th floor of Toyama Excel Hotel Tokyu from June 19 (Friday) to September 30, 2026 (Wednesday).
Unlike typical outdoor beer gardens, the event takes place in a cool, comfortable indoor space while preserving the open, convivial atmosphere of a summer gathering — a concept that arose from guests who wanted to enjoy summer drinks without worrying about the weather. This year's menu draws inspiration from the French "apéritif" tradition, with colorful dishes featuring Toyama Prefecture vegetables and bright herbal flavors. Guests can take in panoramic nighttime views of Toyama city while enjoying hotel-quality cuisine.
All-You-Can-Drink: 25 Varieties Including SORACHI 1984
The drink lineup includes Premium Yebisu alongside SORACHI 1984, a premium Sapporo beer brand brewed using the legendary "Sorachi Ace" hop — a variety recognized around the world that is rarely found even within Toyama city. Colorful sours and cocktails round out the selection, and non-alcoholic mocktails designed to match the visual appeal of their alcoholic counterparts mean everyone at the table can participate in the same festive experience.
Toyama Ingredients and Stylish Summer Cuisine
The Seafood Mariné combines salmon, shrimp, and swordfish with colorful Toyama-grown vegetables, finished with a light ravigote sauce. The crisp texture of finely chopped vegetables, the burst of flying fish roe, and the delicate umami of the seafood work together for a refreshing dish that showcases local produce.
Other dishes include assorted hors d'oeuvres inspired by French aperitif culture, a colorful salad with Toyama vegetable dressing, grilled sausage and fries with rosemary, chicken fritto with Herbes de Provence, and freshly baked pita bread.
