Cypress Trading Co., Ltd. (Nishi Ward, Osaka) has signed an official distribution agreement with UK watch brand Dennison and officially began handling the brand in Japan from February 2026.

For a century, the brand manufactured watch cases for many prestigious watch brands, building a solid reputation as "the existence behind masterpieces." Now, with a new collection aimed at the modern era, the brand is beginning a new chapter. Cypress Trading has resonated with Dennison's history and new value proposition and has begun handling the brand as a partner for official distribution in the Japanese market.
About Dennison
Dennison was founded in 1874 and has a pioneering history in the watch industry, starting in Boston, USA, passing through Zurich, Switzerland, and finally being established in Birmingham, UK.
From the early to mid-20th century, as Europe's largest watch case manufacturer, the company worked with brands including Rolex, Omega, and Jaeger-LeCoultre, as well as manufacturing watches for the British military.
The company is also known for its "Aquatite" case, a pioneer in waterproof cases. During the first ascent of Mount Everest in 1953, Sir Edmund Hillary and his team members wore watches with Dennison cases equipped with Smiths movements.

The currently deployed "A.L.D. Collection" features a cushion case design that modernly reconstructs the 1940s Dennison case. The lineup is characterized by combining minimalist sunray dials with unique natural stone dials.
The brand's design is led by world-renowned watch designer Emmanuel Gueit. He has designed numerous models for Rolex, Piaget, Audemars Piguet, and others, and is widely known for his design of the "Royal Oak Offshore."
