UNIQLO Kyoto opens on November 6, 2026 at Kawaramachi Sanjo in central Kyoto. It is the first global flagship store in Kyoto Prefecture and the second in the Kansai region. To mark the opening, Yasaka Group (彌榮自動車株式会社), which operates Yasaka Taxi and Yasaka Hire mainly in Kyoto city, will release collaboration items available only at the store.
The collaboration came about when UNIQLO Kyoto proposed locally rooted collaborations for UTme! and RE.UNIQLO STUDIO to commemorate the opening. The UTme! lineup at UNIQLO Kyoto features collaborations with 14 companies and cultural figures with ties to Kyoto, and RE.UNIQLO STUDIO, an embroidery service, is also new at the store. Both mark the first collaboration between UNIQLO Kyoto and Yasaka.
UTme! Yasaka Designs
UTme! will offer T-shirts and tote bags in three designs in total. The designs were created to be easy for many customers to pick up and to feel familiar to them.
UTme! Original T-Shirts
The T-shirts come in two designs. One centers on Yasaka Taxi, the company's core business, and combines the main Yasaka vehicles (Toyota Crown Sedan, Toyota JPN TAXI, and Toyota HiAce) with the Yasaka logo. The other features the "three-leaf clover" roof lamp (andon) of Yasaka Taxi. Some kids' sizes will also be offered so that more customers, especially children, can enjoy them.

UTme! Tote Bags
The tote bags come in two sizes. The large size carries the same design as the T-shirts, combining the Yasaka vehicles and logo. The small size features the Yasaka company emblem, which is made up of an octagonal mirror and a shield and whose original form was completed in the early Showa era.

RE.UNIQLO STUDIO Yasaka Designs
RE.UNIQLO STUDIO, UNIQLO's service for repairing and remaking clothing, will be available at UNIQLO Kyoto. Yasaka is providing the embroidery designs for the service.
