Starting April 21, 2026, Hanno Station is adorned with colorful umbrella decorations outside the ticket gates, timed to coincide with the ongoing "Moomin Valley and Umbrella 2026" event at Moominvalley Park. The installation, a collaborative effort involving Hanno City, Moomin Story Co., Ltd., and Seibu Railway, is planned to remain in place through early September 2026.
By matching the umbrella motif found throughout Moominvalley Park, the station decorations are intended to immerse visitors in the park's atmosphere from the moment they step off the train.

Moomin Valley and Umbrella 2026
At Moominvalley Park, the "Moomin Valley and Umbrella 2026" event opened on April 11, 2026. The theme is drawn from Comet in Moominland, with a 200-meter umbrella sky road running through the park filled with vibrant umbrellas and character balloon panels depicting residents of Moomin Valley. The corridor offers a photogenic and immersive space for visitors.
Event period: April 11, 2026 – early September 2026 (subject to change without notice)
