Komatsu is an illustrator active in a wide range of fields, including advertising, books, and character design. His first three picture books will go on sale on Friday, October 30, 2026, and the exhibition will offer advance sales of "Squirrel Can't Sleep" (リス、ねむれません), "Penguin Talk About a Certain Light" (ある光について、ペンギン談), and "Duck Is Fairly Tough" (ダックは、わりとタフ).

Each book is told from Komatsu's distinctive perspective. One follows a squirrel trying to connect with someone, another follows a penguin who wants to share the spring light that touched its heart with someone, and the third follows a duck facing the difficulties of daily life. The stories center on small, endearing main characters.
The main characters of each book will also appear as plush toys. The exhibition will additionally feature original artworks on display, first-come, first-served sales, and original merchandise.
Details will be announced on VINYL's official Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/vinyl_tokyo/). From Monday, October 19, 2026, the original goods are also scheduled to be available at the official online store KENELE STORE (https://kenelestore.jp/).
