Serizawa Keisuke's "10 Great Disciples of Shakamuni" Becomes an Original Eco Bag

To mark the "Meguru -MEGURU-" Art Auction Vol.27 MAIN SALE, a limited quantity of original eco bags featuring Serizawa Keisuke's "10 Great Disciples of Shakamuni" will go on sale.

"10 Great Disciples of Shakamuni" is a series depicting ten of Buddha's foremost disciples, one of the masterpieces that Living National Treasure katae-zome artist Serizawa Keisuke created in his later years. Through powerful line work and forms that make full use of negative space, it expresses the individuality and spirituality of each of the ten disciples, and is considered the very essence of Serizawa's art.
