The Lobby Lounge at Westin Hotel Osaka (Kita-ku, Osaka) is offering its seasonal "Swan Melon Pudding Parfait" from May 18 (Monday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026. Available in a daily limit of just 10 servings, the dessert proved so popular last year that its run was extended and additional servings were added mid-season. The same signature style — using half a melon as the serving bowl — is back again this summer.
About the Parfait
The most striking element is the use of a whole half melon as the vessel, making for an eye-catching presentation. Inside sits an entire hotel-made pudding, along with a mascarpone cream whipped with egg yolks and fresh cream, melon-flavored ice cream, and crispy coconut rocher, all layered together. Each bite reveals new elements as the dessert unfolds.
A swan gliding across water tops the creation, giving it an elegant, summery finish befitting the airy lobby lounge setting.
