THE LOBBY LOUNGE on the 29th floor of THE OSAKA STATION HOTEL, Autograph Collection will offer "Afternoon Tea 'VOYAGE' La saison des raisins" from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 31, 2026. The seasonal menu places three grape varieties — Queen Rouge®, Shine Muscat, and Nagano Purple — at the center of the experience.
The lounge's ongoing afternoon tea series, "Afternoon Tea 'VOYAGE'," is conceived around the idea of traveling to encounter seasonal fruits at their very best. Each edition focuses on a different fruit when it reaches peak ripeness.

Each grape brings a distinct personality to the lineup. Queen Rouge® is known for its vivid red color and pronounced sweetness; Shine Muscat offers a refreshing juice and refined flavor; Nagano Purple has a rich, aromatic depth. The pastry team, led by Executive Pastry Chef Shuichi Yoshida, has developed individual sweets to highlight each variety's character. The menu weaves in custard, fromage blanc, French Muscat liqueur "Mystia," and soft jellies, while a signature parfait brings all three grapes together in one serving. Savory items featuring juicy grape flesh are also part of the lineup.
Welcome Mocktail: White Grape with a Hint of Green Tea

The tea service opens with an original mocktail, "Perle de Raisin" (Pearl of Grapes in French). White grape juice is paired with the light floral character of elderflower and accented by "Printemps Éternel," a rose-scented green tea blend. The result is a clean, gently sweet drink with a lingering floral finish.
A Sweet Ensemble in Three Colors

The sweets tier includes a "Three-Grape Tart" where smooth custard and fresh cream meld with grape juice; "Grape Spread with Fromage Blanc Cream" made with Nagano Purple; and "Gâteau Muscat," which makes use of Shine Muscat's distinctive green hue. Each sweet is presented in the jewel-like color of its corresponding grape, creating a visually striking spread across the tier.
A Parfait with All Three Grapes

The parfait layers Queen Rouge®, Shine Muscat, and Nagano Purple so guests can compare the distinct flesh and juice of each variety in one serving. It is built with Mystia jelly carrying a Muscat aroma, fromage blanc, vanilla cream, and finished with a topping of salted milk ice cream and Italian parsley granita for a refreshing contrast.
Savory Accompaniments

The savory selection includes "Prosciutto and Grape Olive Pinchos," where mild saltiness sets off the sweetness of the grape; ayu (sweetfish) confit with potato salad in a bagna cauda sauce; chilled corn potage; and a "Smoked Salmon and Avocado Sandwich" with colorful fillings. Each item is intended to refresh the palate and provide contrast to the sweet courses.
Tea Pairing: DAMMANN FRÈRES

The afternoon tea is accompanied by free-flow selections from DAMMANN FRÈRES, a storied French tea house founded in 1692. All 15 flavors are available throughout the session. For this grape-themed menu, the "Rooibos Oriental" — with passion fruit and wild strawberry aromas layered over mild rooibos — is particularly suited to complement the delicate sweetness of the grape sweets.
