The Westin Osaka (General Manager: Masami Morita) will offer its seasonal "Strawberry Afternoon Tea" at the Lobby Lounge from March 1 (Sunday) to May 6 (Wednesday), 2026. The menu showcases fresh strawberries at their peak, featuring rare "Amarin" strawberries from Saitama Prefecture.

To highlight the natural flavors of strawberries, the hotel's pastry team has created a simple yet refined menu with carefully crafted textures. Every item is made in-house, creating a dreamlike tea time experience where guests feel surrounded by strawberries.
The signature shortcake features Amarin strawberries, known for their rich sweetness. Each guest receives their own individual tea stand, creating a truly strawberry-centric afternoon tea experience.
A Rare Gem: Amarin Strawberries in the Classic Shortcake
Like an aperitif that sets the mood, the experience begins with a lemon jelly and raspberry glass sweet. The refreshing acidity and light effervescence of carbonation create an elegant start to the tea time.
Among strawberry desserts, the shortcake holds a special place. The hotel's version features moist sponge cake topped with a whole, glossy Amarin strawberry—a showcase of the pastry chef's skill.

Six additional strawberries are arranged as decorative garnish, ready to be enjoyed "strawberry picking" style. Guests can savor them plain or customize their experience by dipping them in chocolate or condensed milk—an interactive element that adds discovery to the dessert course.
Classic Sweets That Expand the Strawberry Experience

The second tier presents a pavlova with fresh strawberries nestled inside the airy meringue. The crisp, flaky pastry of the mille-feuille sandwiches custard and whipped cream layers, while the vibrant green pistachio mousse creates visual contrast throughout the presentation.

The third tier features kipferl—crescent-shaped cookies with a crisp texture balanced by the mild acidity of strawberry powder. Adorable round macarons lock in concentrated strawberry flavor, while the pound cake incorporates dried strawberries that have deepened in taste over time, releasing rich aroma with each bite.
