A new form of culture took shape at Okazaki Park in Kyoto, where three days of energy filled the grounds.
YES GOOD MARKET (YGM) is a market event that shares fashion, music, food, and other culture through the format of a "market." It was started by 湯本弘通, director of SEE SEE, and is supported by Urban Research Co., Ltd., with the city of Kyoto joining as a supporter for the first time this year. This year's event was held at Okazaki Park in Kyoto over three days, from Friday, October 2 to Sunday, October 4, 2026, including a pre-event on the first evening.
Although the final day brought bad weather, the event was filled with enough energy and smiles to blow the rain away. Total attendance across the three days is estimated at approximately 30,000 to 35,000 visitors, and the event closed with a strong turnout. Here is a look at the event, focusing on the highlights that drew the most excitement.
The First-Ever Pre-Event Builds Anticipation

On the evening of the first day, Friday, October 2, YGM held its first-ever pre-event. After dark, Okazaki Park took on an atmospheric look, with stylish music and carefully chosen food and drink creating a special space. Visitors and creators gathered ahead of the main event, making for a special evening where culture and people crossed paths.
Even in its first year, the pre-event drew a lively crowd and raised expectations for the weekend's main event right from the start.
The Flea Market: Carrying On "Connections"

The flea market, a new addition this year and the main content symbolizing this year's YGM, stayed busy throughout. Brands, creators, and other exhibitors connected to YGM brought valuable archive items and personal belongings, which were lined up in large numbers, and the area was packed with culture fans from right after the gates opened. Visitors shopped while talking directly with the exhibitors, creating a community-minded space and the kind of warm exchanges typical of YGM.
Final Day in the Rain: Crowds Still Fill the Grounds

Rain fell on the final day, Sunday, October 4, but the excitement at the venue did not fade. Large numbers of visitors in rain gear kept coming to buy limited-edition items and enjoy the food area, which offered food available only there. Surrounded by the strong energy of culture fans who seemed to turn the bad weather to their advantage, the three days were full of smiles to the very end.

YES GOOD MARKET 2026 generated great excitement, including through its first-time attractions. YGM continues to evolve as a place where people and culture intersect, and its next steps are something to look forward to.
