About the Author: Yufushi
Illustrator and manga artist. Creates elegant depictions of people and plants using transparent watercolors, and has worked on numerous book covers and illustrations. Major illustration credits include the "Wagaya wa Gion no Ogamiya-san" series by Mai Mochizuki (Kadokawa Bunko), "Ōka-koku Kōkyū no Kusushi" series by Shino Kaida (Fujimi L Bunko), "Saikiku Ayakashi Sanpōchō" series by Aoto Aoyagi (Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha), and the wraparound band illustration for "Never Let Me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro (Hayakawa Bunko). Manga works include "Sayonara Jitensha" (original story by Sanagi Sakuragawa, Futabasha). Has also published the art book "irodori" and coloring books "Hanaemi" and "Yume to Kūsō no Cafeteria." Her designs appear on art supplies packaging including paint sets, brush pens, and sketchbooks released by art material manufacturers. Conducts exhibitions and watercolor workshops nationwide.
